Gespräch über Islam und Tradition auf Xtanbul mit Kerem
Am 15.09.2011 gab es bei der türkischen Sendung XTANBUL des lokalen Radiosenders Radio X aus Basel ein sehr interessantes Interview mit Kerem Adıgüzel zum Thema “Islam – was ist Tradition, was ist Religion”.
Wenn wir an den Islam denken, haben wir sicherlich alle eine bestimmte Vorstellung oder bestimmte Bilder im Kopf. Woher kommen diese Vorstellungen und entsprechen sie wirklich dem Islam? Dazu muss man zunächst einmal wissen, was Islam überhaupt bedeutet. Dies und die Frage “Was ist Tradition und was ist Religion?” wurde in dem Interview von Kerem Adıgüzel beantwortet. Dabei hat er auch Themen wie Kopftuch, Rechte der Frauen, Rechtsform des Koran und Demokratie und Umgang miteinander näher beleuchtet und aus der Sicht des Koran sehr anschaulich erklärt.

Kerem: „Right, so if you want to talk about Islam, you first have to tell which Islam you are talking about, whether it is an Islam coming from the traditions, whether it is an Islam mixed with ideas, world pictures from one’s own cultural circle or whether it is Islam, which comes from the Koran. And Islam, which is lived, is the mainstream Islam, so to say, the visible Islam, and unfortunately it does not quite correspond to the Islam, which actually emerges from the Koran itself, which he wants to have understood as Islam. And even the terms that you use, Islam, Muslim, you have to look at them more closely, because in principle, if I only use the word in itself, then I can also speak of a Muslim Christian.“
Interviewer: „Exactly, we have already discussed this before, where you can think, hey that is quite provocative, maybe you have to explain that again. You have already told: Muslim what that means. What does that mean, can you explain this to us?“
Kerem: „So Muslim is an Arabic word, it is not a name, not a term, it is used like this, but it comes from the Arabic root `s-l-m‘. For example, some Egyptians say, when they want to say „Hi“: „sallem nafsak“, meaning literally „surrender yourself“, and the root means exactly the same, that one subordinates oneself, that one submits, that one surrenders oneself with free will and sallem nafsak, if one says surrender yourself, it is not meant that one is in war, but it is meant: „Hey, surrender yourself, there is no resistance and I do not come with resistance, so I come also devoted, therefore it is peace“. For this reason it is also said „peace“.“
Interviewer: „And that means that Muslim, the word, so you do not necessarily need to use it only in religion, you can also use it in another context in this case?“
Kerem: „Correct, only from the language, one can say: „I am devoted.“ Muslim is actually submitting oneself, that means when I submit myself to something, whether it be Satan, whether it be something else, it can be my work, it can be my children, I dedicate my life to it, I submit to it, and then I am a Muslim towards Satan, or towards my work or I submit to my children, than I am a Muslim towards these people or this thing this idea, this ideology. That is the difference and the Koran wants us to say, no, I only submit to the Creator. He is my only authority.“
Interviewer: „And if you already speak of the root, if I am not mistaken, the word Islam also comes from the same root as Muslim, does it not?“
Kerem: „Correct“ Interviewerin: „am I mistaken now there! [laughs]“
Kerem: „No, that’s right, so all words like Muslim, Salam, for example, one says „Salam Aleykum“, Islam, these are all words from the same root and Islam is often translated as submission, thus that what a submitter does. So what a Muslim does is submission. He submits himself to the Creator out of his full heart and voluntarily and that is also the goal, the Koran wants the words Islam and Muslim to be understood like that.“
Interviewer: „Super, then thank you first for the clarification, I find this simply very exciting, because if you, I believe, if you do not know the Arabic language, then one does not come to the idea that this is related to the roots of words. We have said today that we want to separate between tradition and religion, what really stands in the Koran and what is practiced, and one of the very typical examples is also the headscarf, so there is always the expectation that women, Muslim women wear headscarves and of course the question is what, so, what does the Koran say about it?“
Kerem: „So this is a general issue, as far as women are concerned, that is certainly difficult because there the tradition is very deep in the understanding of the Koran, so you really have to be aware of what is tradition, how it originated and in the sense of mainstream Islam, in the visible, seen Islam there is a certain basic attitude towards women, that is to say, for example, in a mosque, they have special prayer rooms, for example, when they menstruate, they are not allowed to fast nor to pray, so it is forbidden, although this does not come from the Koran, this is a general attitude, which originates from Sunni Islam, where certain principles, when looked at, are established for themselves, so they come then mostly with any Hadith and justify e.g. that the dogs are forbidden or music and chess, art. Towards this, there is a certain animosity, that is, a certain antipathy is being seen, and when it is now about the headscarf, it is so that one accepts sura An-Nur, sura 24, verse 31 as a justification and there it is said in Arabic: Wal-yađribna bikhumurihinna `alá juyūbihinna; And they should put forth their cloths, so khumur, over their cleavage, or over their breasts, decollete, So the scholar e.g. An-Nawawī, who lived from 1233 to 1277, explains the word khumur as the plural of khimar, and that it is that which is on the head of the women. Similarly, Ibn Jawzi, who says: „Khumur is that with what women cover their heads, and if one looks at the word khimar and khumur, it just means covering, cloth, blanket, so I can therefore form the word such as quilt, e.g. khimaru-s-sariir in Arabic or I can say tablecloth, ie. khimaru-l-Maidah.“
Interviewer: „So to summarize again briefly, as you say, the word, so it is actually only the word „cloth“ that appears and there is actually never a headscarf mentioned before, if you look at it closely?“
Kerem: „Correct.“
Interviewer: „And so we can not really justify in the sense that women have to wear a headscarf, if I understand it correctly“
Kerem: „Now it is like this, for example, if you talk to Tunisians, so if you just talk to Tunisians about it and ask what means khimar, then they immediately say headscarf. This is that what is going on until the cleavage, so they have a certain idea of what comes from the tradition, but in principle, if one wants to describe the headscarf, one can also do this with the word: khimaru-r-ra’s, that is the cloth of the head, that is, the headscarf, and it does not occur like this, and the reason why this is not the case is that people link words directly with each other if they fit with their tradition or with their culture, and it is really like this that men as well as women in Arabic culture, especially in those regions where Islam has emerged, is that it was actually common that they wear headscarfs and for them this is not a question at all, it simply belongs to them and I think it is also a nice thing. It’s just that you have to say: Hey, the word does not mean headscarf, it just means cloth, and that means there she shall put her cloths over her cleavage,
Interviewer: „And that is also quite good, that you have mentioned that simply one thinks because of the tradition that it was common and there would not have been a big discussion, above all, there were just the scholars before, who have read the Koran and many have not been able to read themselves, so this has never been read or questioned. It is probably quite new, that you just question certain things and look up, hey, is that really mentioned like that? Because you have access now, that is as with all religions, just as it was in Christianity, where at that time not all could have read, because it is written in Latin, that you could not read that and nowadays it is also in Islam like this that one only now, i say rather since less time, that one scrutinises and and takes up such topics, because I think 200 years and 300 years ago it was not yet a question whether that is is allowed or whether it means cloth, or whether it means headscarf and … “
Kerem: „Well, that’s not quite true, so there have already been I would now say groupings, such as mutazilites, in the early stages of Islam, who propagated, declared and represented a rather rational Islam they simply had the bad luck that they could not simply announce their views in the mosque, i.e. they did not have the broad public like the other preachers, So it is not so new.“
Interviewer: „Okay.“
Kerem: „But the fact that it is starting now is justified by the fact that we are in an information society. We are much more quickly confronted with the text, also with the translations and there arise questions and there you simply must have the courage to go to the Imam and say: „What you say sounds somehow good or it Is well explained or you used a good word choice etc. but please justify that.“
Interviewer: „Exactly.“
Kerem: „So, where is this in the Koran, does it stand in the Koran or is it something of the culture, or is it for example in the Hadith collections, and this clear distinction has to be made. It is also the point that scholars, as well as generally in the totality of societies themselves, have the opinion that the Koran can not be interpreted alone that it is a sin. Thus, e.g. in some forums, when one looks on the Internet, one can see that if one tries to interpret the Koran alone, this is seen as a sin, we should literally follow what the scholar said, this and that, scholar XY, Sheikh ABC or anything else. And that is the problem, and the Koran, on the other hand, says in Sura 34, verse 45, that one should use the intellectual tools, so that one is sceptical that one scrutinises and that one also asks the knowing ones that one deals with the text alone in groups or even alone, that is, with the Koran. The Koran really wants people to look at the text themselves, to understand it, the Koran does not want to be blindly followed. That is what many verses say, that one should think, or that the intelligent are those who use the reason.“
Interviewer: „Exactly, and this is simply the difference to the tradition, tradition is often so that it is simply passed on, from mouth to mouth, from ear to ear, as we have said before, the phone game for example, then also certain things never correspond to the whole truth or just simply, that one does not deal with it. We have been talking about the headscarf before, how it should look, how it is mentioned in the Koran, and we said, you said that only the word „cloth“ and not the headscarf is mentioned, and that it is really connected much with tradition. Now something else that is often associated with Islam, unfortunately negative, is that Islam is misogynistic or that women are suppressed, that they do not have so many rights and are quasi subordinated to men. What can you tell us about it, what does the Koran say about it?“
Kerem: „So the Koran contains a lot of regulations, laws and rules, as well as prohibitions, which concern the coexistence between man and woman in society, between relatives in general, so it is a very complex subject, one can not simply pick out a verse and then you have already represented the whole subject, this will be difficult.“
Interviewer: „Yes.“
Kerem: „But, in principle, one can say that the patriarchal understanding, that is, the men who rise up unjustly, that they understand certain verses from their worldview, and this is also seen in the history of interpretation in the so-called Tafsir, who try to comment on the Qur’an and explain that because of their worldview, where the woman did not have a high status or could not have it because of other political reasons, whether they think so themselves or not, so I do not want to ascribe someone a bad intention, but it has been seen that they have understood certain verses just like this. One example is sura An-Nisa, that is, Sura 4, verse 34, which is often quoted to say: „Yes, the man is above the woman! He has the privileges over the woman!“ and this wrong, because the verse actually says in the first sentence further: He has to take care of the woman. And now the people who surely put themselves over the woman say, „Yes, I have to look after them, that’s a good thing, so I have more rights and duties, so they interpret that immediately in it before they are aware that they are doing it, that is in them, because it is in their world view, that is, if one also looks at the further course of the verse, then it is that God gave, the woman as well as the man, different gifts, advantages, and it is already noticeable in the biology that women have to bear the child, for example, and the man does not, this is already a biological difference and one must simply accept it, i.e. a woman needs to prepare for birth in life, and that is done by menstruation, which is a biological process, that is, when one takes away the whole patriarchal understanding, than a completely different picture emerges, the woman is respected just as the man and vice versa, that is, they are equal, but they have other rights and other duties. For certain rights and duties one can then say: Ok, it seems as if a woman, for example, is oppressed, but it is not like that, if one looks at it more closely and unfortunately the patriarchal understanding, for example, then also comes across in beating, that one says, if a woman, for example, acts unruly, whatever that means exactly, then you should first talk to her, which is reasonable, and you should avoid her in the marital bed, and then you should beat her? If you are now attentive, then the Koran actually proposes in principle, a procedure how a marriage is to be saved, so at first to speak with her, and also avoid her in the marital bed to give a clear signal. If one beats the woman then it does not necessarily save the marriage, so at least my opinion is like this, and you simply have to look at the word more closely, and it is like this that the Arabic dictionaries e.g. the word ḍaraba, so in the verse it appears as iḍribūhunna, that you look closely at this, it means really very different things, it can mean going around in the country, it can mean that God coins a parable, and if you then want to translate that it as beating, then God would beat parables and this does not necessarily make sense, so, and then others, that one, for example separates himself or separates paths, if one looks at it in this view then one can say, well, the Koran actually proposes how to proceed, if for some reason the man is not satisfied with the marriage, then they should divorce, if the thing with the marital bed also does not work, then it is already lost anyway, then you have no connection anyway. So the only thing left is: to divorce. This would be briefly the explanation. The language analysis must of course be made more accurate, one can not make it so fast, but in principle it is treated like that. A few examples where the women enjoy many rights are e.g. at the marriage that a woman really has the right for a claim that she says I want from the man a house, a car and that he has a job and if he does not fulfill this then we will not marry. This claim can be made and the right is granted to the woman, i.e. until the husband does not fulfill this, they can not marry, and when they have married, and divorce afterwards, the man is not allowed to take away anything from it.“
Interviewer: „This is perhaps something to be mentioned briefly, in Islam, women are allowed to divorce, which is not given in all religions, or that is something that is unfortunately also traditionally characterized, where it is then said: „No, one is not allowed to divorce“, but Islam, i.e., the Koran, presets it to be allowed, right?“
Kerem: „Correct, so both the man and the woman are allowed to divorce from another man or woman, and this is allowed three times. After the third time, one is not allowed to marry until the person, i.e. the corresponding person has married with the other and divorced again. It is about the fact that, when a person marries three times and divorces again, that the two souls, the two persons do not fit together, and that the clashes, the friction between the persons should be stopped and that one should not play with the marriage. This is actually meant more in this sense.“
Interviewer: „So with the same person now?“
Kerem: „Correct.“
Interviewer: „I do not believe that it is so good to marry the same person three times and then get divorced. [laughs]“
Other Interviewer: „So if you currently look at it, it is in the relationship like this that one very often separates and comes together, one separates and one comes back together, and now and then, so now in my environment it is like this, if I may say so, and then when the one person really say: „No, it is finished, I am now together with the other person“, then it is either really finished or when you come together, then the relationship lasts, it is really a clever idea.“
Kerem: „Yes, for example, the Swiss legal form also states that you have to wait a year until you really divorce, registered by the state, which is at least what I have learned recently.“
Interviewer: „This is a good keyword, if you say legal form, because we will also look at other aspects not always the stereotypical, which is often heard, and we can even talk about the legal form of the Koran, and this is something one did not catch so much about, now, what can you tell us about this, or I ask the question differently, I pose this question, so, if you now accept e.g. the Koran as a law book, how would such a state look like as a country? “
Kerem: „This is a very good question! So at the beginning I would like to say that I am not a politician, nor have I the competence to use the notions and terminology, what is done in science or in the construction of such a system and also the closer correlations, so there must be an expert behind it to examine it closely. The same is true of the Koran verses, which make certain statements about heaven and earth. Then you just get experts who are familiar with the atmosphere, so you have to, how should I say, limit oneself to the coarse. The legal form, which I can roughly describe now, is, for example, that the monarchist rule system is not necessarily the form proposed by the Koran. The criticism can be read in sura 27, verse 34, so it is an inadequate system. The Koran, on the other hand, provides a federalist-laicist system, that is, simply said, it is simply the democracy demanded by the principles of Shura, which means more or less that one controls each other and advises on an equivalent position, it is not simply a tip, which is e.g. from a friend who is not so familiar with it, but is really advising on the same position, and then propose a solution, and Bay’ah [wrongly pronounced in the interview], which is a social contract, e.g. that the Muslims, who recognize the Koran as the main law, with a different society which does not recognize the Koran, would make a universal law, and this is quasi just a federal constitution, so laicism, as most people understand that religion and the state are separated, would be also understood in this sense by the Koran, i.e. religion understands the word just as much as people who really want to separate religion and the state, so I can say when I see that Switzerland or at least the Swiss form of democracy is very close to the legal form of the Koran, you can be lucky and therefore I also say: Thank God that I am in Switzerland.“
Interviewer: „Yes, and that is really something very exciting, because you can see again what is actually in the Koran and how it is lived out, there are a lot of Arab countries where the Koran is actually used as a law book but it is very monarchical, not democratic, and this is something where one sees that the separation is not actually being made, what should eventually be done. Kerem: „Thanks! So, the legal form of the Koran, I have previously indicated that Swiss democracy is very close to what the Koran proposes as a legal form, if you like. And I would like to mention a few examples that freedom of belief and freedom of opinion is defended, an example of this is Sura 2, verse 256 or also Sura 88, verses 21-22, and representation and discussion of public affairs, that is sura 42, verse 38, or that, for example, every citizen in the country has the right to proceed against injustices, let it be the injustice which has been committed by a person or a government, i.e. I can take petitions, referrals, initiatives, and the right is recognized, and this can also be read in Sura 4, verse 148, and also for example to respect the privacy of each individual, or that the right of immigration is granted, as the Koran says: The earth is from God, so it belongs to no one, it belongs to no nation in itself. It is clear that one has to manage, but in principle, the right of immigration exists.“
Interviewer: „That sounds very good.“
Other Interviewer: „I think it is also quite good, the right of immigration, if you look at it in the context, that actually from Islam the image is there that only Islam applies and only with Muslims, i think it is great that there are „open doors“ for all to immigrate. What I want to ask you for the end is now about interpretation and about actuality. How relevant is the Koran for us now in 2011, so it is surely difficult, I give now the example of myself: I have been trying to read the Koran, Turkish did not work for me, and I have tried it in German and it is just mega difficult, there are a bit of interlaced sentences and you have said before you should also, you can also look at it critically, and this has always been my inhibition threshold that I always as soon as I see something what criticizes with my inner spirit, I always get a bad conscience. How can you really currently interpret this?“
Kerem: „So timelessness of the Koran is a question that is not so simple to answer, because symbolism can always be used to justify one’s own views. The reason why for example you have a discomfort is, if you view the Koran critically at least the understanding of the Koran which is justified by the fact that one has always been muzzled or said, that it must be done by a scholar who has done it for 50 years, and if he has only learned nonsense in his entire life, for fifty years then this is not any better, so that is to say, one is allowed, the Koran also demands this, that you examine the Koran by yourself or as a pair or in a group, so that one should deal with the text, with the matter of God, and he says then that one must be critical that one should ask the knowing ones concerning certain things one can not just be expert in every sphere of life, that is not possible, but the Koran has not been sent for elites, has not been sent to sheikhs or scholars, but it has been sent for you and me, for mathematicians, for psychologists, or for an electrician or a polymechanic, and this is suggested in the Koran in sura 54 (Al-Qamar), verse 17, when he says: „And We made the Koran easy to remember. Are there any who want to learn? That is, one must really read the Koran, look at the first verse, which is revealed, one says it is: „Iqra ‚Bismi Rabbika“, thus: „Read in the name of your Lord.“ That is, you have to put scholars, sheikhs, everything aside and begin to look at the text itself, that means also that there can be people who are not satisfied with their own opinions [about the Koran] or who are not satisfied with the opinions of others, which is quite normal. Then one simply talks with others, gets knowledge, if one can, and looks at the linguistic more closely, which is quite normal, so the Koran also says that one must not obey anything of which one has no knowledge, sura 17, verse 36, that you also listen to everything what is said, sura 39, verse 18, and there it is not said, when you listen to everything what Muslims say or what Christians say or what „unbelievers“ say, but you must listen to everything, and one can finally conclude with the Koran verse, sura, now I am not quite sure, 49, verse 13 I think it is, that different cultures and tribes were created by God and the difference from language is the sign [cf., verse 30:22] that we get to know each other, that is, as a young generation, you must be courageous to leave the tradition behind, which is interpreted as an Islamic ideology and begin to understand the Koran for yourself, so that you can now live the Koran and not as in medieval Arabia.“

Interviewerin: „Ja super! Ich will gerade mal, wenn man sagt, dass man über den Islam redet, das ist mal, vielleicht eine Definition zuerst mal nötig: „Was versteht man unter Islam, was macht den Islam aus?“
Kerem: „Richtig, also wenn man vom Islam reden will, dann muss man zuerst deutlich machen von welchem Islam man redet, also ob es ein Islam ist, der von den Traditionen kommt, ob es ein Islam ist, welcher vermischt ist mit Vorstellungen, Weltbilder aus dem eigenen Kulturkreis oder ob es der Islam ist, welcher aus dem Koran kommt. Und der Islam, der gelebt wird, ist der Mainstream-Islam, also quasi der sichtbare Islam, und der stimmt leider nicht ganz überein mit dem Islam, der sich aus dem Koran selber eigentlich heraus ergibt, den er als Islam verstanden haben will. Und auch schon die Begriffe, die man verwendet, Islam, Muslim, die muss man sich schon genauer anschauen, weil prinzipiell, wenn ich nur das Wort an sich verwende, dann kann ich auch von einem muslimischen Christ reden.“
Interviewerin: „Genau, das haben wir vorhin schon besprochen gehabt, wo man denken kann, hey das ist ziemlich provokativ, vielleicht muss man das nochmal genauer erläutern. Du hast schon vorher erzählt gehabt: Muslim, was das bedeutet. Was bedeutet das, kannst du das mal uns erläutern?“
Kerem: „Also Muslim ist ein arabisches Wort, es ist nicht ein Name, keine Bezeichnung, es wird so verwendet, aber es kommt von der arabischen Wurzel `s-l-m‘. Z.B. sagen sich einige Ägypter, wenn sie sich „Hi“ sagen: „sallem nafsak“, also wortwörtlich „Ergebe dich“, und die Wurzel bedeutet genau das gleiche, dass man sich unterordnet, dass man sich hingibt, dass man sich aus freiem Willen etwas ergibt und sallem nafsak, wenn man sagt ergebe dich, ist das nicht so gemeint, dass man im Krieg ist, sondern es ist gemeint: „Hey, ergebe dich, es ist kein Widerstand da und ich komme auch nicht mit Widerstand, also ich komme auch ergeben, deshalb ist Frieden“, Aus diesem Grund sagt man das auch so „Frieden“.“
Interviewerin: „Und das heißt, dass Muslim, das Wort, also muss man eigentlich nicht unbedingt nur in der Religion brauchen, man kann es auch in einem anderen Kontext in dem Fall auch verwenden?“
Kerem: „Richtig, allein von der Sprache her kann man sagen: „Ich bin ergeben.“ Muslim ist eigentlich ergeben, d.h. wenn ich mich irgendetwas ergebe, sei es jetzt Satan, sei es jetzt irgend etwas anderes, es kann auch meine Arbeit sein, es können meine Kinder sein, ich widme mein Leben dem, ich gib mich dem hin, und dann bin ich halt ein Muslim gegenüber dem Satan oder gegenüber meiner Arbeit oder ich gib mich meinem Kind hin, dann bin ich ein Muslim gegenüber den Leuten oder dieser Sache, dieser Idee, dieser Ideologie. Das ist der Unterschied und der Koran möchte, dass wir sagen, nein, ich ergebe mich nur einzig und allein dem Schöpfer. Er ist meine einzige Autorität.“
Interviewerin: „Und wenn man jetzt schon von der Wurzel spricht, wenn ich mich nicht täusche, das Wort Islam kommt ja auch aus der gleichen Wurzel wie Muslim oder?“
Kerem: „Richtig“
Interviewerin: „täusch ich mich da jetzt! *lacht*“
Kerem: „Nein, das ist richtig, also alle Wörter wie Muslim, Salam, z.B. sagt man „Salam Aleykum“, Islam, das sind alles Wörter aus der gleichen Wurzel und Islam übersetzt man häufig als Hingabe, also das, was man bezeichnet, was der Ergebene macht. Also das, was der Muslim macht, das ist Hingabe. Er gibt sich dem Schöpfer aus vollstem Herzen und freiwillig hin, und das ist auch das Ziel, so möchte der Koran die Wörter Islam und Muslim verstanden haben.“
Interviewerin: „Super, dann danke zuerst mal für die Aufklärung, ich finde das einfach sehr spannend, weil wenn man, ich glaube, wenn man die arabische Sprache nicht kennt, dann kommt man nicht auf die Idee, dass da halt das mit Wurzeln mit Stammwurzeln zusammenhängt von Wörtern. Wir haben gesagt heute wir wollen doch trennen zwischen Tradition und Religion, was steht wirklich im Koran und was wird aber ausgelebt, und eins von den also sehr typischen Beispielen auch ist Kopftuch, also es ist auch immer die Erwartung da, dass Frauen, muslimische Frauen Kopftücher tragen und da ist natürlich auch die Frage was, also, was steht eigentlich da diesbezüglich im Koran?“
Kerem: „Also das ist jetzt ein allgemeines Thema, was Frauen anbelangt, das ist sicherlich schwierig, weil dort die Tradition sehr tief auch im Verständnis vom Koran drin ist, also da muss man wirklich sich bewusst sein, was ist Tradition, wie ist es entstanden und in dem Sinne im Mainstream-Islam, im gelebten, im sichtbaren Islam ist eine gewisse Grundhaltung gegenüber Frauen zu sehen, d.h. zum Beispiel in einer Moschee, sie haben spezielle Gebetsräume, sie darf z.B. wenn sie menstruiert, nicht fasten und nicht beten, also sie darf es nicht, es ist ihr untersagt, obwohl das kommt nicht vom Koran, das ist eine allgemeine Haltung, was dem sunnitischen Islam entspringt, wo gewisse Prinzipien, wenn man sie anschaut, für sich selber begründet werden, also die kommen dann meistens mit irgendwelchen Hadithen und begründen z.B. dass die Hunde verboten sind oder Musik und Schach, Kunst. Dem gegenüber ist eine gewisse Animosität, also eine gewisse Abneigung zu sehen, und wenn es jetzt ums Kopftuch geht, dann ist es so, dass man Sure An-Nur, von der Zahl her 24, Vers 31 als Begründung annimmt und da steht auf Arabisch: Wal-yađribna bikhumurihinna `alá dschuyūbihinna; Und sie werfen oder sie sollen ihre Bedeckungen, also khumur, über sich schlagen oder über sich werfen, und zwar über ihren Ausschnitt oder über ihre Brüste, Kleiderausschnitt, Also der Gelehrte z.B. an-Nawawī, der von 1233 bis 1277 gelebt hat, erläutert das Wort chumur als Mehrzahl von chimar, und dass es das ist, was auf dem Kopf von den Frauen ist. Ähnlich Ibn Dschawzi, der sagt: “ „Chumur ist das, womit Frauen ihren Kopf bedecken, und wenn man sich das Wort chimar und chumur anschaut, dann bedeutet es nur Bedeckung, Tuch, Decke, also ich kann damit auch das Wort bilden wie z.B. Bettdecke, also chimaru-s-sariir auf Arabisch oder ich kann sagen Tischtuch, also chimaru-l-maidah.“
Interviewerin: „Also zusammengefasst nochmal kurz, wie du das sagst, das Wort, also es kommt eigentlich nur das Wort auf Deutsch gesagt „Tuch“ vor und es kommt eigentlich nie ein Kopftuch vor sozusagen, wenn man es sich genau anschaut?“
Kerem: „Richtig.“
Interviewerin: „und drum können wir eigentlich in dem Sinne nicht begründen, dass Frauen ein Kopftuch tragen müssen, wenn ich das so richtig verstehe?“
Kerem: „Jetzt ist es so, wenn man z.B. mit Tuneser, also wenn man einfach mit Tuneser darüber redet und fragt, was bedeutet chimar, dann sagen sie sofort Kopftuch. Das ist das, was bis zum Kleiderausschnitt geht, also, sie haben eine gewisse Vorstellung, was von der Tradition kommt, aber prinzipiell, wenn man Kopftuch beschreiben will, dann kann man das eben mit dem Wort auch machen: chimaru-r-ra’s, das ist Tuch des Kopfes, also Kopftuch und so kommt es nicht vor, und der Grund, wieso das nicht vorkommt ist halt, dass Menschen Wörter direkt miteinander verknüpfen, wenn es mit ihrer Tradition oder mit ihrer Kultur passt, also es ist wirklich so, dass Männer wie auch Frauen in der arabischen Kultur, vor allem in denen Regionen, wo der Islam enstanden ist, dass sie, eigentlich, dass es gang und gäbe war, dass sie Kopftücher anhaben und für sie ist das gar keine Frage, es gehört einfach zu ihnen und ich finde es auch eine schöne Sache. Es ist einfach nur so, dass man sagen muss: Hey, das Wort bedeutet nicht Kopftuch, es bedeutet nur Tuch, und d.h. dort sie soll ihre Tücher über ihren Ausschnitt legen.“
Interviewerin: „Und das ist auch ganz gut, dass du das erwähnt hast, dass einfach die Tradition meint da, dass es gang und gäbe gewesen ist, hätte man das auch nicht groß diskutiert, vor allem waren ja vorhin einfach nur die Gelehrten, die den Koran gelesen haben und viele haben auch nicht selber lesen können, also ist das auch nie gelesen oder hinterfragt worden. Es ist wahrscheinlich ziemlich neu, dass man halt gewisse Sachen mal hinterfragt und mal nachschaut, hey, steht das wirklich so? Weil man hat ja nun den Zugang, das ist wie bei allen Religionen, halt auch wie es im Christentum so gewesen ist, wo damals halt nicht alle hätten [lesen] können, weil es auf Lateinisch geschrieben ist, dass man da halt das nicht lesen konnte und heutzutage ist es halt auch im Islam so, dass man erst jetzt also, ich sage mal so eher, seit kürzerer Zeit wirklich einmal hinterfragt und solche Themen dann auch aufgreift, weil ich denke noch vor 200 und 300 Jahren ist das noch keine Frage gewesen, ob man das darf oder ob das Tuch heißt, oder ob das Kopftuch heißt und…“
Kerem: „Also, so ganz stimmt das auch nicht, also es hat jetzt schon früher auch im Anfangsstadium vom Islam würde ich jetzt mal sagen Gruppierungen gegeben, wie z.B. Mutaziliten, dass die recht einen rationalen Islam propagierten, also verkündeten und vertreten haben, sie haben einfach das Pech gehabt, dass sie nicht in der Moschee ihre Ansicht einfach verkünden konnten, d.h. sie haben nicht das breite Publikum gehabt, wie die anderen Prediger. Also, es ist nicht so ganz neu.“
Interviewerin: „Okay.“
Kerem: „Aber dass es jetzt von Neuem anfängt, ist halt dadurch begründet, dass wir in einer Informationsgesellschaft sind. Wir sind viel schneller mit dem Text konfrontiert, auch mit den Übersetzungen und es entstehen Fragen und da muss man einfach den Mut haben auch zum Imam oder zum Hodscha zu gehen und sagen: „Das, was sie sagen, das klingt zwar irgendwie gut oder es ist gut erklärt oder gute Wortwahl etc., aber begründen Sie das bitte.“
Interviewerin: „Genau.“
Kerem: „Also, wo steht das im Koran, steht es überhaupt im Koran oder ist das etwas, was von der Kultur ist oder steht das zum Beispiel in den Hadith-Sammlungen, und diese klare Unterscheidung muss man machen. Es ist auch der Punkt, dass Gelehrte, wie auch [allgemein in der Gesamtheit der] Gesellschaften selber, eben die Meinung haben, dass man den Koran nicht allein auslegen darf, dass es eine Sünde sei. Also z.B. in gewissen Foren, wenn man im Internet schaut, kann man sehen, dass wenn man versucht den Koran allein auszulegen, wird das als Sünde gesehen, wir sollen wortwörtlich dem folgen, was der Gelehrte das und jenes gesagt hat, Gelehrte XY, Scheich ABC oder sonst irgendetwas. Und das ist dann das Problem, und der Koran sagt hingegen in Sure 34, Vers 45, dass man zusammen, mit den intellektuellen Werkzeugen, also dass man kritisch ist, dass man nachfragt und dass man auch die Wissenden fragt, dass man sich in Gruppen oder auch allein mit dem Text befassen soll, also mit dem Koran. Der Koran will eigentlich, dass die Leute den Text selber anschauen, dass sie ihn verstehen, der Koran will nicht, dass man ihn einfach blind befolgt. Das sagen zahlreiche Verse, dass man nachdenken soll oder dass die Einsichtigen diejenigen sind, die sich des Verstandes bedienen.“
Interviewerin: „Genau, und das ist einfach der Unterschied zu der Tradition, Tradition ist oft so, dass es einfach weitergegeben wird, von Mund zu Mund, von Ohr zu Ohr, wie wir das schon vorher gesagt haben, das Telefonspiel zum Beispiel, dass dann auch gewisse Sachen halt nie der ganzen Wahrheit entsprechen oder eben einfach, dass man sich damit nicht auseinandersetzt. Wir machen gerade weiter mit einem spannenden Thema, aber vorher geht es noch ganz kurz in die Musikpause, und zwar hören wir jetzt, also das ist jetzt auf türkisch ausgesprochen, „Kül“ heißt die Band. […]

Interviewerin: „Ihr hört Radio X, die türkische Sendung Xtanbul, wie wir am Anfang schon erwähnt haben, haben wir heute ein Gast bei uns, er heißt Kerem Adıgüzel und es geht heute um: Islam – Was ist Tradition und was ist Religion? Wir haben uns vorher über Kopftuch unterhalten, wie das denn aussehen soll, wie es da im Koran steht und da haben wir gesagt, hast du gesagt, dass eigentlich lediglich das Wort „Tuch“ vorkommt und nicht Kopftuch, und dass es eigentlich viel mit Tradition verbunden ist. Jetzt etwas anderes, was oft mit dem Islam verbunden wird, leider negativ, ist, dass Islam frauenfeindlich ist oder das eben Frauen unterdrückt werden, dass sie nicht so viele Rechte hätten und unter den Männern stehen sozusagen. Was kannst du uns dadrüber erzählen, was steht da im Koran dadrüber?“
Kerem: „Also der Koran enthält sehr viele Bestimmungen, Gesetze und Regeln, und wie auch Verbote, was das Zusammenleben zwischen Mann und Frau in der Gesellschaft, zwischen den Verwandten allgemein anbelangt, also es ist ein sehr komplexes Thema, man kann nicht einfach einen Vers heraus picken und dann hat man das ganze Thema schon repräsentiert, das wird schwierig.“
Interviewerin:“Ja.“
Kerem: „Aber prinzipiell kann man sagen, dass das patriarchalische Verständnis, also die Männer, die sich erheben, also mit Unrecht, dass die aus ihrem Weltbild heraus auch gewisse Verse verstehen, und das sieht man auch in der Geschichte von der Auslegung, also im sogenannten Tafsir, die versuchen den Koran zu kommentieren und zu erklären, dass die aus ihrem Weltbild heraus, wonach die Frau halt nicht so einen großen Stellenwert gehabt hat oder nicht hat haben können wegen anderen politischen Gründen, egal ob sie selber so denken oder nicht, also schlechte Absicht will ich da niemandem einfach so unterstellen, aber man hat gesehen, dass sie gewisse Verse einfach so verstanden haben. Ein Beispiel ist Sure An-Nisa, also Sure 4, Vers 34, da wird sehr oft zitiert, um auch sagen zu können: „Ja, der Mann steht über der Frau! Er hat die Vorrechte über die Frau!“, und das ist falsch, weil der Vers sagt eigentlich im ersten Satz weiter: Er hat sich um die Frau zu kümmern und zu sorgen. Und jetzt verstehen das halt diejenige, die also sicherlich halt machomäßig über der Frau stellen, wenn sie sagen: „Ja, ich muss mich um sie sorgen, das ist eine gute Sache, also habe ich auch mehr Rechte und Pflichten, also sie interpretieren das sofort rein, bevor sie sich bewusst sind, dass sie das machen, das ist in ihnen drin, weil es in ihrem Weltbild so ist, d.h. wenn man auch den weiteren Verlauf vom Vers anschaut, dann geht es drum, dass Gott, der Frau wie auch dem Mann, unterschiedliche Gaben schenkte, Vorzüge, und das macht sich schon allein in der Biologie bemerkbar, dass Frauen z.B. das Kind gebären müssen und der Mann nicht, das ist schon mal ein biologischer Unterschied, und den muss man einfach so akzeptieren, d.h. eine Frau muss sich auf die Geburt vorbereiten im Leben, und das geschieht durch Menstruation, das ist ein biologischer Prozess, d.h. wenn man das ganze patriarchalische Verständnis wegnimmt, dann ergibt sich ein ganz anderes Bild, die Frau wird genauso respektiert wie der Mann und umgekehrt, d.h sie sind sich gleich gestellt, haben aber andere Rechte und andere Pflichten, Bei gewissen Rechte und Pflichten kann man dann sagen: Ok, sieht so aus als würde eine Frau z.B. unterdrückt werden, aber es ist nicht so, wenn man es sich genauer anschaut, und leider ist das Verständnis, das patriarchalische Verständnis z.B. dann auch im Schlagen rüber gekommen, dass man sagt, wenn eine Frau sich z.B. widerspenstig benimmt, was das auch immer genau heißt, dann sollte man zuerst mit ihr reden, was ja auch vernünftig ist, und man sollte sie im Ehebett meiden, und dann sollte man sie schlagen? Wenn man jetzt aufmerksam ist, dann schlägt der Koran eigentlich einen vor, wo prinzipiell eine Ehe gerettet werden soll, also zuerst mit ihr reden, und auch im Ehebett meiden, um ein klares Signal zu geben. Wenn man die Frau dann schlägt, dann rettet das die Ehe nicht unbedingt, also zumindestens ist das meine Auffassung so, und da muss man einfach das Wort sich genauer anschauen, und das ist ja so, dass die arabischen Wörterbücher z.B das Wort ḍaraba, also im Vers kommt es als iḍribūhunna vor, dass man das genau mal sich anschaut, bedeutet das wirklich sehr unterschiedliche Sachen, es kann umherziehen im Land bedeuten, es kann bedeuten, dass Gott ein Gleichnis prägt, und wenn man dann das als schlagen übersetzen will, dann würde Gott Gleichnisse schlagen und das ergibt nicht unbedingt Sinn, also, und dann auch andere, dass man z.B. sich trennt oder sich Wege trennen, wenn man das in dem Licht anschaut, dann kann man sagen, gut, der Koran schlägt eigentlich vor, wie man vorgehen soll, wenn der Mann aus irgendeinem Grund nicht zufrieden ist mit der Ehe, dann sollten sie sich trennen, wenn das Ehebett meiden auch nicht klappt, dann ist es eh schon verloren, dann hat man eh keine Verbindung mehr. Also das einzige, was noch übrig bleibt: sich trennen. Dies wäre kurz gesagt die Erklärung. Die sprachliche Analyse muss man natürlich genauer machen, kann man nicht so schnell machen, aber prinzipiell wird es so behandelt. Ein paar Beispiele, wo die Frauen sehr viele Rechte genießen sind z.B. bei der Heirat, dass eine Frau sich wirklich, dass sie wirklich einen Anspruch hat, dass sie sagt, ich möchte vom Mann ein Haus, ein Auto und dass er einen Job hat, und wenn er das nicht erfüllt, dann werden wir nicht heiraten, [Diesen Anspruch] kann sie stellen und das Recht wird der Frau gewährt, d.h. bis der Mann das nicht erfüllt, können sie nicht heiraten, und wenn sie dann geheiratet haben und nachher sich scheiden lassen, dann darf der Mann nichts davon zurücknehmen.“
Interviewerin: „Das ist vielleicht etwas, was man kurz erwähnen soll, im Islam dürfen sich Frauen scheiden lassen, das ist ja nicht in allen Religionen gegeben oder das ist etwas, was leider auch traditionell sehr geprägt ist, wo es dann heißt: „Nein, man darf sich nicht scheiden lassen“, aber der Islam, also der Koran gibt es vor, dass man es darf, oder?“
Kerem: „Richtig, also sowohl der Mann als auch die Frau dürfen sich von einem anderen Mann oder Frau scheiden lassen, und das darf man dreimal. Nach dem dritten Mal darf man nicht mehr heiraten, bis die Person, also die entsprechende Person mit dem anderen geheiratet hat und sich wieder scheiden lässt. Es geht darum, dass hier eigentlich, wenn eine Person dreimal heiratet und sich wieder scheiden lässt, dass da eigentlich die zwei Seelen, die zwei Personen nicht zueinander passen, und dass die Auseinandersetzungen, die Reibungen zwischen den Personen sollten gestoppt werden, und dass da nicht mit der Heirat gespielt werden soll. Das ist eigentlich mehr in dem Sinn gemeint.“
Interviewerin: „Also mit der gleichen Person jetzt?“
Kerem: „Richtig.“
Interviewerin: „Ich glaube das ist auch nicht so gut, die gleiche Person dreimal zu heiraten und sich dann scheiden zu lassen. *lacht*“
Andere Interviewerin: „Also wenn man das aktuell sich anschaut, ist das schon in der Beziehung so, dass man sehr oft, man trennt sich und man kommt wieder zusammen, man trennt sich und man kommt wieder zusammen, und ab und zu, also jetzt in meinem Umfeld, wenn ich das so sagen darf, und dann aber wenn die eine Person wirklich mal, also dass sie sagt: „Nein es ist fertig, ich bin jetzt mit der anderen Person zusammen“, dann ist wirklich entweder richtig Schluss oder wenn man dann zusammen kommt, dann hält es meistens, es ist schon eine clevere Idee.“
Kerem: „Ja, also zum Beispiel auch die schweizerische Rechtsform gibt diesbezüglich vor, dass man ein Jahr warten muss, bis man sich wirklich auf dem Papier scheiden lassen kann, also zumindestens ist das, was ich letztens gelernt habe.“
Interviewerin: „Das ist ein gutes Stichwort, wenn du sagst Rechtsform, weil wir werden heute mal auch andere Aspekte uns anschauen nicht immer das Klischeehafte, was man oft auch ja schon hört, und zwar, können wir mal darüber reden über die Rechtsform vom Koran, und das ist ja mal etwas, wo man jetzt nicht so viel mitbekommen hat, was kannst du uns hierüber sagen oder ich stell die Frage mal anders, ich mach mal so eine Frage, und zwar, also wenn man jetzt z.B. den Koran als Gesetzbuch akzeptieren würde, wie würde dann so ein Staat, also als Land aussehen?“
Kerem: „Das ist eine ganz gute Frage! Also zu Beginn möchte ich sagen: Ich bin kein Politiker und habe auch nicht die Kompetenz die Begrifflichkeiten und Terminologie zu verwenden, was man in der Wissenschaft macht oder im Aufbau von so einem System braucht und auch die näheren Zusammenhänge, also da muss ein Experte dahinter das genauer anschauen. Genauso das Gleiche ist es auch mit den Koranversen, welche gewisse Aussagen über Himmel und Erde machen. Dann holt man halt Experten, die sich mit der Atmosphäre auskennen, also da muss man, wie soll ich sagen, sich auf das Grobe beschränken. Die Rechtsform, was ich im Groben so gerade wiedergeben kann, ist z.B. dass das monarchistische Herrschaftssystem nicht unbedingt die Form ist, die der Koran vorschlägt. Das kann man, die Kritik kann man nachlesen in Sure 27, Vers 34, also es ist ein unzulängliches System. Der Koran sieht im Gegensatz ein föderalistisch-laizistisches System vor, d.h. kurz gesagt oder einfach gesagt, es ist einfach die Demokratie gefordert mit den Prinzipien Schura, was mehr oder weniger heißt dass man sich gegenseitig kontrolliert und sich beratet auf gleichwertiger Position, es ist nicht einfach so ein Ratschlag, den man sich z.B. von einem Freund holt, der sich nicht so auskennt, sondern man beratet sich wirklich auf gleicher Position, und dann eine Lösung vorschlagen, und Bay’ah [falsch ausgesprochen im Interview], was ein Gesellschaftsvertrag ist, d.h. z.B. dass die Muslime, die das Hauptgesetz als Koran anerkennen, mit einer anderen Gesellschaft, die den Koran eben nicht anerkennt, ein allgemeingültiges Gesetz machen würden, und das ist eben eine Bundesverfassung sozusagen, also Laizismus, wie die meisten ihn so verstehen, dass Religion und der Staat getrennt wird, wäre in dem Sinn auch im Koran her so verstanden, d.h. Religion versteht das Wort genauso wie die Leute, die eigentlich die Religion und den Staat trennen wollen, und von daher kann ich sagen, wenn ich das sehe, dass die Schweiz oder zu mindestens die schweizerische Demokratieform sehr nah ist an der Rechtsform vom Koran, d.h. man kann sich glücklich schätzen und deshalb sage ich auch: Gott sei Dank, dass ich da in der Schweiz bin.“
Interviewerin: „Ja, und das ist aber eigentlich auch wieder etwas sehr spannendes, weil man da wieder seht, was eigentlich eben im Koran steht und wie es ausgelebt wird, es sind ja sehr viele arabische Länder, wo auch der Koran als Gesetzbuch eigentlich benutzt wird, aber eben sehr monarchisch, nicht demokratisch, und das ist wieder etwas, wo man sieht, dass man eigentlich die Trennung garnicht vornimmt, was man ja eigentlich vielleicht machen sollte, wir machen nochmal eine kurze Musikpause und dann geht es wieder spannend weiter!

Interviewerin: „Ihr hört die türkische Sendung Xtanbul, nach einer Musikpause sind wir wieder da mit unserem Gast Kerem Adıgüzel. Das Thema heute ist: Islam – Was ist Tradition und was ist Religion, und vorher haben wir uns gerade unterhalten über die Rechtsform des Korans, und da überlasse ich nun das Wort dir.“
Kerem: „Merci! Also, Rechtsform des Korans, ich habe vorher angedeutet, dass die schweizerische Demokratie sehr nah ist zu dem, was der Koran als Rechtsform vorschlägt, wenn man so will. Und ein paar Beispiele möchte ich zu dem erwähnen, wie z.B. dass Glaubens- und Meinungsfreiheit verteidigt wird, ein Beispiel davon ist Sure 2, Vers 256 oder auch Sure 88, Vers 21-22, und Vertretung und Besprechung der öffentlichen Angelegenheiten gefordert wird, das ist Sure 42, Vers 38, oder dass z.B jeder Bürger im Land das Recht hat gegen Ungerechtigkeiten vorzugehen, sei die Ungerechtigkeit jetzt von einer Person oder von einer Regierung begangen worden, d.h. ich kann Petitionen, Referenden, Initiativen ergreifen, und das Recht wird anerkannt, und das kann man nachlesen auch in Sure 4, Vers 148, und auch z.B. Privatsphäre von jedem einzelnen Menschen zu respektieren oder dass auch Immigrationsrecht gewährt wird, in dem der Koran sagt: Die Erde ist Gottes, dass heißt es gehört niemandem, es gehört keiner Nation an sich, klar hat man zu verwalten, aber prinzipiell, das Recht von der Immigration besteht.“
Interviewerin: „Das klingt ja sehr gut.“
Andere Interviewerin: „Ich finde es eigentlich auch recht gut, also Recht von der Immigration, wenn man das im Kontext anguckt, dass eigentlich vom Islam das Bild da entsteht, ja, es gilt nur der Islam und nur mit Moslems, ja, also dass es eigentlich eine recht offene Türe für alle hat, finde ich super. Was ich noch zum Schluss dich fragen will, es geht jetzt noch um Interpretation und um Aktualität. Wie aktuell ist jetzt eigentlich der Koran jetzt für uns, 2011, also, sicherlich schwierig, also ich gebe mal das Beispiel von mir: Also ich habe selber versucht den Koran zu lesen, türkisch ist nicht gegangen, und da hat man es mit Deutsch versucht und es ist einfach mega schwierig, ja sind da ein wenig verzettelte Sätze und du hast ja vorher gesagt man sollte das auch, man darf das auch kritisch anschauen, und das ist heute eigentlich immer so meine Hemmschwelle gewesen, dass ich immer, sobald ich etwas sehe, was mir innerlich, mit meinem innerlichen Geist kritisiert, es immer ein schlechtes Gewissen gehabt habe. Wie kann man das eigentlich so aktuell sogar interpretieren?“
Kerem: „Also die Zeitlosigkeit vom Koran ist eine Frage, die nicht so einfach zu beantworten ist insofern, weil Symbolik kann man immer verwenden, um seine eigene Ansichten zu begründen. Der Grund wieso z.B. gerade bei dir jetzt Unbehagen vorhanden ist, wenn man den Koran einfach kritisch anschaut, zumindestens das Verständnis vom Koran, das liegt auch dadrin begründet, dass man halt immer mundtot gemacht worden ist oder gesagt worden ist, ja, das muss ein Gelehrter machen, der 50 Jahre lang das gemacht hat, und wenn er jetzt nur Unsinn gelernt hat sein ganzes Leben lang, 50 Jahre lang, dann ist das auch nicht besser, also das heißt man darf ruhig, der Koran verlangt das ja auch, dass man eben den Koran allein oder zu zweit oder in einer Gruppe anschaut, also dass man sich mit dem Text befassen soll, mit der Sache Gottes, und er sagt dann schon, dass man kritisch sein muss, dass man bei gewissen Sachen eben die Wissenden fragen soll, man kann nicht einfach in jedem Lebensbereich Experte sein, das geht nicht, aber der Koran ist nicht für Eliten gesandt worden, ist nicht für Scheichs oder Gelehrte gesandt worden, sondern er ist für dich und mich gesandt worden, für Mathematiker, für Psychologen, oder auch für einen Elektriker oder Polymechaniker und das wird im Koran nahe gelegt in Sure 54 (Al-Qamar), Vers 17, wenn er sagt: „Wir haben den Koran zum Nachdenken leicht gemacht. Gibt es denkende Menschen, die daraus Lehren ziehen?“ Das heißt, man muss den Koran wirklich lesen, schau dir den ersten Vers, der offenbart ist, sagt man: „Iqra‘ Bismi Rabbika“, also: „Lies im Namen deines Herrn.“ Das heißt, man muss Gelehrte, Scheichs, alles auf die Seite schieben und beginnen den Text selber anzuschauen, d.h. auch, dass es Leute geben kann, die mit ihren eigenen Meinungen [über den Koran] nicht zufrieden sind oder die mit den Meinungen von anderen nicht zufrieden sind, das ist durchaus normal. Da redet man dann einfach mit anderen darüber, holt sich Wissen, wenn man kann, und tut das Sprachliche sich genauer anschauen, das ist durchaus normal, also der Koran sagt auch, dass man nichts befolgen darf, wovon man keine Kenntnis hat, Sure 17, Vers 36, dass man auch allem zuhört, was gesagt wird, Sure 39, Vers 18, und dort wird nicht gesagt, wenn man allem zuhört, was Muslime sagen oder was Christen sagen oder was „Ungläubige“ sagen, sondern man muss allem zuhören, und dass kann man abschließend mit dem Koranvers sagen, Sure, jetzt bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher, 49, Vers 13 sollte das sein, dass verschiedene Kulturen und Stämme erschaffen worden sind von Gott und die Unterschiedlichkeit von der Sprache das Zeichen ist [vgl. Vers 30:22], dass wir uns kennenlernen, d.h. man kann jetzt als junge Generation den Mut fassen, die Tradition hinter sich zu lassen, das was als islamische Ideologie aufgefasst wird und anfangen den Koran für sich zu verstehen, damit man auch jetzt den Koran leben kann und nicht wie im mittelalterlichen Arabien.“
